Extra big thanks to Eric (4u2nv, the only person I could get hold of on a Sunday) who was willing to make a trek to where my car is currently stationed in an effort to locate the issue with me, and was willing to go so far as to drive about 20 minutes to pick me up, go back to my car, and bring me all the way back home. I ultimately decided to just hold off until tomorrow, get it towed to a local shop to pinpoint the issue.

I seem to have found some bittersweet resolution.

Zack is sending out one of his guys to fix it. They are certain it is just an airline (that wasnt properly secured due to them being in a hurry). Zack was out of town, and judging by the tone of his voice when I spoke with him, I doubt that i would have been sent off with my car not 100% ready to go. It's great that hes taking manpower out of the shop to make a house call, but I was supposed to be in L.A for a corporate training today at 9am, and I live in OC (if you live in CA, you know what kind of driving I was in store for this morning), which I had to miss. As a result of that, I have to wait until next monday for the next class, and am out of work this whole week over an rushed installation/ 30 minute fix.

:/

That's no bueno. This is the the thing that scared me so much about going air ride. The only UAS recommended shop is 4 hours north of me.

In the past me and my friends always did our own mods, but now that we have new cars with virtually no room to do anything, and wiring up the wazoo, I decided to leave it to the pros. I'm going to get a play by play while hes fixing it, so I will feel confident in doing it myself should this happen ever again.

It was the simpliest 5-10 minute fix ever, and even though it was UAS' fault for not double checking the work that caused the issue, I was somewhat embarassed because I could have fixed it in a jiffy myself. Not being familiar with how the system was set up or anything, I was like a fish out of water. I wish I would have just rounded up a buddy or two and printed out Simans thread, I have no doubt we could have tackled this on our own, and I would have been able to correct the issue within an hour as well. Thus I wouldnt be out of work this week over a 5 minute fix...

It was indeed just that the lines werent tied up so they melted on the exhaust. I'm still kind of pissed about it, since I have to miss work, but it was hard to stay mad once I saw my little snoball up and running again

Off to get her washed and then pic time. Sorry for the delay, blame my airlines!!!!!

On a final note, Does anybody have the dakota rectangular gauge (not the autolift one) mounted in the ashtray, or anywhere other than the left side of the dash?

P.S- I should note that the customer service UAS provided was above and beyond. Zack had one his guys make about an 1:20minute drive to pick me up from my house, drive another 20 minutes to my car and fix it on the spot. UAS still has a up in my book.

good to hear your whip is up and running. I am considering UAS and now I know that I can count on their customer service.
