Bad news...
I have been watching this thread and your status with Tein since the beginning. I have KW V2's on mine, but if I had known about the Teins I would have gone in that direction.
Now hearing about the run-around you had to go through with them, I am glad I went with the KW's!
Give it some time to blow over... if you REALLY want the adjustability you may still decide to go with the Tein's regardless of the treatment you received. If not, the KW's are a quality setup that you won't regret!
Tork - I think I'm going to design and build my own motor system for the KWs. I already found the motors. I have a design for the mounts, which I'll fab up once I get the motors and then I'll tackle the electronics.

I was thinking about this myself!
If you put together a working system, I will be a customer!
Tein has excelllent customer service. Im sorry to hear that they did not use your car. They even told me that they may not use my car either. I was informed 3 days before the actual test that they were gonna use my ride. They ride on the teins are excellent and handling is great! I didnt keep my hopes up about the free product cause they gave me a maybe. but i couldnt be happier about the quality of the product! Buy Teins you wont regret it!
Part of excellent customer service is not lying or jacking around potential customers such as the case with Adam and those who received hopeful emails. The whole point with this particular R & D using Adam's SRT was to design a suspension system and EDFC specific to the 300.
I think most of us interested in TEIN were looking for the additional EDFC to the suspension. If I wanted just an excellent lowering suspension kit, then I would have gone with the KW v.2 system long ago. They're manufactured in the community right next to mine.
The shame here is solely on TEIN. I'm happy it worked out for you but please realize that many members here were led to believe this complete kit would all come to fruition by no later than the end of June. Seems that we're back to square one. It's not often that I have money burning a hole in my pocket. That's no way to run a business IMO.
instead of waiting 4 months, you should have just installed the Charger setup. If if you had to do minor mods, it'd be worth it. If there was absolutely NO WAY they'd work on a 300c (which I doubt), you can always unload them to Charger owners.

Yes, it is unfortunate that they did not let 1fastsedan know sooner that they would not be needing his car for the fitment. However, I think you're jumping to conclusions here. 1fastsedan said they weren't using his car, but you're also making an assumption that they are not producing this product. That is not true. I know for a fact that after they did 300Hustler's car that they were not fully happy with the fitment because of the lack of EDFC and decided to have new (longer) dampener rods made so that they could indeed make this happen for the 300's (with EDFC).
I checked out Alberts car again the other day and I for one am still excited about waiting for this system. KW and Eibach have very nice systems, but for my needs, (you know, I'm a techno junkie) I just need to have the electronically controlled dampener system.
Dear God,
Please don't let teahead, HeHateMe, and joey see this thread.
Dangit teahead.......I was hoping you wouldn't find this updated thread.

Hey JonW!
Don't worry. I haven't thrown in the towel just yet. I definitely know about your techno needs but my patience is wearing just a little thin. And, I can't help but empathize with Adam. Hopefully, TEIN is currently working on the EDFC system for the 300. I enjoyed driving Mighty Noid's Charger and making all those quick adjustments with the EDFC. I did not consider it just another toy but an enhancement to the system.
Who is to say we cant make the Tein EDFC system work for our KW V2's. Seriously, every set of adjustable shocks I have bought had the same little metal shaft sticking up to adjust. It's not rocket science you stick something over it that has a motor to turn it and you have on the fly tuning. The mounting of the control device and wiring will have to be compatable, so at most you would have to customize the shaft to fit in the device or vice versa. I bet it would take less then a day to make there system work with ours.

The other difference could be the number of stops per revolution. I'm not sure on the numbers for KW, but I know some brands use 16 stops and some use 32. You will have to make sure you get the right motor/controller for the KWs. Other than that, you will need to secure the motor somehow and make a female allen to male slotted screwdriver adapter.
We were going to do this with my friend's Charger who has KWs. Now I think we're just going to build it from scratch.
