TEIN officially F'd me.

As some of you know, I've been talking to TEIN since February about coil-overs with EDFC for the 300 line. I was told several times that they would be using my car for the R&D. A month ago I found out here that they had used another 300C instead of mine. In early May, I followed up with them and was told that they will likely use my ride for the final fitting. So I called today about setting up the date and was officially told that they don't need my ride.

The thing that bothers me the most is not that I didn't get free parts and installation. Its that I was strung along for 4 months when I could have been doing other work to my car. I've had a box of Hotchkis sways sitting in my house for 2 months that I didn't put on because I was told they were using my car.

Good luck to all of you still waiting for TEIN. I honestly hope that you get the system that you're waiting for, but its looking like KW V2s for me. Not that I don't like the TEIN kit, but I don't like the idea of giving them my money after being treated like this.

1fastsedan,
You know I didn't want to hear this news. I am so sorry how you were personally treated and sorry for me for waiting and trusting just as long as you. I guess the Charger owners are very lucky to have the complete suspension/EDFC kit.

It's disgusting that a well known company with a supposed good product strung out many 300 owners, including those who sent in emails and received hopeful replies as well. Well, my backup plan was KW v.2 or even UAS....

As far as I know, the system is still coming - just without my help any longer.

Sorry to hear about this Adam. I was wondering what happened. Trust me, you will be more than happy with the KWV2s.

KW rocks. You'll enjoy them just as much. Sorry to hear about how they treated you. Do you know who the other 300C they're using is?

Hey 1fastsedan, that is too bad. It's their loss because I know what a great guy you are and how you would have treated them with feedback, etc. I hope you get your car back on track with the schedule you were promised.

Good luck!!!!

Moose.
