Question Please help me with a lowering ?????

Hey all you proud 300 owners. I'm looking for just a bit of info, or a push in the right direction on lowing my car with the rims and tires I've already purchased. I've done some research on the site already, but am just overwhelmed at all the topics already posted. I'm looking for some more specific info concerning my situation.

I want to lower the car ever so slightly. I know the kits out there are like 1.6" lowering, but not sure I want to go that low, or maybe that's the way? I've read and am very interested in a used SRT8 suspension. How much lower is the SRT8 over my 300C?

Here's what I'm working with:

Wheels - American Racing (Casino) 20 x 8.5 5-115
Tires - Pirelli 275/40ZR20 PZero Rosso

The Tires are already worn out, and due for replacement, so it's not a problem if I need a different size tire to accommodate more clearance.

Thanks for any and all info! I know you boys will hook a brutha man up!

Rob (AKA White Guy)

The SRT suspension is .5" lower than your 300C. That's an awful wide tire you're running on 8.5" wide rims. It might be alright (can't find the tire site that lists recommended tire sizes for certain sized wheels). Not sure if the wide tire would cause rubbing...I think its more the height of the tire (40 series vs 45) that would cause more problems than the width.

Don't worry. Smeone wil lbe along shortly to further answer your questions and/or correct any misinformation I may have given you.

G'luck

Here is a option to lower your ride 1"

Charger R/T 300c Magnum R/T Mopar Performance Lowering Springs

I think this is the tire site ( you'll have to play around with the program )

Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - BIGCUSTOMWHEELS

Good Luck...
