I would get the Teins. Adjustment on the fly is nice.
I believe anything over 500 really is a bit too much when all you want is to lower the vehicle. I'd be happy with one middle of the road shock setting, providing medium comfort and performance. How long could I run the stock shocks with just drop springs without it getting bouncy? Would handling be similar to stock? Identical until the shocks wear out? Decisions, decisions.....

Cheapest ones out there are suspension techniques.

For an SRT8, if you want to keep the same shocks, I would only do the Hotchkis SRT8-specific springs.

THey don't drop it that much (I think 1/8"F, 1/2"R), but it's better than nothing. And, you know the stock shocks will work with it.

Cheaper than full-on coilover/adjustable shocks/springs for sure.

Too much gap in the back IMHO.

The KW's are so expensive! I wanna drop, but not sacrifice handling, and my only choice is them !! What do I do !! Wait until the time comes when I can justify spending 1500 on these? I know right now is not the right time to get them, as I'm buying a new home, BUT I really don't like how high my ride looks. I think Chrysler raised the SRT8's back up after all the broken front lips they've had. BUT I think it's a bit too high, handling is still superb, but too high. I had my same rims on my 06' 300C and the ride height issue was NOT as noticeable. If only my '07 SRT8 had the same ride height settings as my '06. Any way to fix this? What does DCX change to alter their stock ride heights? Any other options than the Kw's (i know most people will say NO)? Do I have to just wait it out until I have more cash? I really want to finish the MAIN mods to my ride as quickly as possible, and enjoy it ! Any thoughts appreciated.....

The short answer is because people are paying for them. If they were not selling they would reduce the price. Who are they competing with when it comes to coilovers with adjustability...Tein? Hardly a blip on there radar screen.

I think hhp. Also, promotion tuning on the other forum sells them. Give aaron at stealth a call first to see what he can do.

Call HHP. They beat everyone else and the service was excellent. $1335.00 shipped for the Variant 2 model... better than everyone else I found by almost a hundred dollars. Thanks 300C forum and thanks HHP!
