Currently installing my air ride but i have no room for the traps, since i live in cen cal i really dont think i'll need them that bad. How important are the water traps??i'll post pics later tonight
water traps are needed between the compressor and tank.. there is condensation that forms and will get into your tank and rust it also into your valves and damage them over time... check out SUICIDEDOORS.com for some nice SMC water traps.

Hey Neighbor,
You will find Zack's answer to your question in this thread from the LX forums.

damn i didnt know that the tank collected that much water..........thanx 4 da info
You're welcome. Seems that others in that thread also agree with the importance of water traps. Living in a hot, dry area (like here) has nothing to do with not needing the traps.
Good luck with your self-installation. Looking forward to your pics.

Another easy fix for this if you dont have the space for a trap would be to use the bottom port on the tank and pop in a 1/2" npt and 1/4" airline compression fitting and run some 1/4" line under the car to ....
1.) 1/4" solenoid valve
2.) ball valve
3.) or a big rig style tank drain port.
i would pic the first option.
