Went racing yesterday!!!

I'll try and keep this short. If anyones from the Central Valley in California you should check out the weekend Race events they have at the old Air Force base in A****er north of Fresno, good people good times! The best $35 and 5 legal/public minutes of my life!!! It was a 1/2 mile track marked out with cones on a huge flat pad of concrete. There were about 100 cars there. Everything from 240's Vettes, BMWs, Miata's Mini's I was the only 300C there. There was an R/t Charger there but I didn't get to see him run. The fastest time I see was 52 Secs(I was way off) by an S2000. You get 5 runs with about 5-10 mins between each one. My runs went like this 1:12/1:10/1:07/1:06/1:05. I know they are high compared to the S but, I am happy I improved every run and I am sure I had the heaviest car on stock tires lol. I could go on and on but it was a blast! If anyone is in the area check it out!! I now know the limits of my car and myself and can not believe how well the ESP works. I was taking turns the way wrong wayand way too fast and the ESP would never let me spin out it was amazing. My buddy that races his 80 something RX-7 loved it when he rode with me(yes you can have peeps ride with you, cool) and laughed and said he wishes he could get it in his car. Next time I am gonna show just how bad of a driver I am and turn it off!! LOL....they'll be picking up cones left and right after me. I'm hooked! I think some strut bars/good springs and some slicks and A LOT more skill I'll be under the minute mark. The car has all the power in the world for the event. My buddy and his 7 were running 57's and he's on stock motor with slicks and good suspension. Sorry so long!
