Will a brand new car settle a bit?

Just bought a 300 on Sunday, test fit some 22's yest and just did not like the look. There is a good 3-4" gap if not more from the top of the tire to the wheel well. The tires were 265/35 I believe? Will the ride settle a bit after a few miles, or are all these pics of cars I am seeing with 22's also have lowering springs? Thanks all!

I don't know for sure, but I would guess a new car will settle about 1/4".
When I switched to new KWv2 coilovers it took about 6 weeks to settle about 1/4'- 3/8". I don't know why a new car suspension wouldn't do the same.
Here are my measurements for the ground to the apex of the fender after about 13 months of ownership. I don't have the measurements right after I bought my car.

FL 30 1/2".......FR 30 1/2"
RL 31 1/8".......RR 31"

It will settle a bit but not what you want at all. If it looks killer it's lowered odds are.
