suspension 300c vs SRT8

Fellows, need a little help. I have a 2005 300c - runs great. What I don't like is the ride, to much roll and bounce. I've been looking into reducing this rollover because I like the ride of the SRT8. Question: If I purchase coilovers that are for SRT8 6.1, will they fit 300C 5.7? I guess what I'm asking is if I were to purchase the stock coilovers for SRT8 from the dealer, would they be interchangeable? Also I like the ride height of the SRT8 - slightly lower than the 300C. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks, Steve

go with the Kw v2, the ride is awesome. Also you can ajust the dampener and the height.

I bought mine for 1399$ for the coil overs and the spring, check with tbyrne

Hey thanks for the info. One other question, will this eliminate the roll and bounce? thanks, Steve

You will love the KWv2. They will totally eliminate the bounce. With the KWv2's, you can adjust the rebound, which is the bounce. You can probably find a used set of SRT8 shock/springs for cheap. But I would bet the KWv2's will give you a much better ride.

The KWv2's will also reduce the roll. If you really want to go for it, get Hotchkis sway bars.
They will reduce the roll even further.

I'd like to upgrade my suspension but don't want to lower more than SRT8 - which is only 0.50" lower than 5.7. What is the minimum height for the KW's?

Per the KW website the minimum drop should be 0.8 inches.
The coilovers can raise the car beyond the 0.8 minimum, but KW says there may be a problem hitting the bump stops in certain conditions.
KW automotive North America Inc. Suspension -- Coilovers -- Shocks -- Springs

One way to mitigate the KW drop is to get taller tires.
If you get taller tires, such as 255/45/20's which are about 0.4" taller than stock, then dropping the car 1 inch would result in a net drop of 0.6", or about 1/2 inch.
