Putting 300c lowering springs on a 300?

Hello people I was told that the springs of the 300 are a lot softer than the 300cs because it is a lighter car or something so since I am pretty heavy and my car gets filled up would it be okay to put 300c lowering springs on my car since it is stiffer? or should I just get the whole kit installed with the shock absorbers especially for the 300 base?

Don't do springs only!

Regardless of your 300 model, you should consider coilovers or a complete kit with matching dampers and sways (ie Eibach). Your ride quality will be much better than if you do just springs. They don't refund the labor if you don't like the ride, so choose wisely! I learned the hard way.

No matter how heavy you and all the stuff you want to carry are the fact is most of that weight would be distributed fairly evenly on all four wheels.

Bear in mind the 300C is something like 400-500 lbs. heavier and nearly all that weight is carried by the front tires. I imagine 300C springs would be too stiff and lift the front end of the car by too much.

They will fit. The result will be a 1" drop instead of 1.6 in the front since the spring compression ratio is different on the C vs. the 300.
