Smoked Compressor?

Not sure yet, but afraid I did. Everything seemed fine, but showing my set up today to a friend from out of town, I noticed the compressor for the front is ice cold, where the other was natuarally warm. I know it is not running now, I will check for wiring problem, but cant remember if there is a fuse on the compressor itself to check (hopeful). anyway and whatever I did, I may need to but a new one, has anyone bought one outside of the UAS kit? would UAS treat me better than another company? any advise would be appreciated! thanks in advance! -Pat

more fun yet, on the way home I pancaked and didnt get back up, checked and neither compressor is running now. I changed out soliniods (after checking EVERY other connection) and still no go. so I put the positive leads from the compressor directly on the battery and nothing. I will call Zach in the morning, I am sure they will stand behind this. Before I do that though, just to be sure..... there isnt another fuse i am forgeting is there?

Nope no fuses, if you put the leads directly on the battery and nothing..means the comps are toast.

Double check your ground too. A loose ground can cause similiar issues. Kinda weird how you would have smoked 2 compressors that quickly from each other.

I double checked my ground again tonight- no good. BUT I did call Zach last week and he is sending out some parts, not compressors, but if it gets me running again then Im cool. I wish they would have sent me new comp's- I dont really look forward tearing them apart to replace parts, but same token, I will learn something. I just hope whatever it is, it gets here tomarrow so I can get it together this 3 day weekend. but AAAAAGAGGGGGAGGGGGGHHHHH!!!! it drives me crazy to not be driving my car!!!!!!
