Angry No Help Lowering Car

3 shops turned down my girlfriend to lower my car. I went to three different shops in NC and no one would put my eibach springs on.

You might have to offer cash instead of your girlfriend . . .

Or perhaps, get a different girlfriend!

OMG, you and your literal translations... I'm freakin' dying here!

Nathaniel, you don't mention what type of shops you contacted, but I would suggest you try a street rod or hot rod shop; they specialize in custom installs and don't have to worry as much about customers coming back at them due to warranty issues.

Exactly! I had the same issue. None of the "chain" suspension shops would touch it and one that would, wanted $400 to do it!!! I had it done for $200 by a custom shop I usually have do my work and the owner of the shop picked the car up and dropped it off after it was completed...

At lease they didn't offer to do it when they haven't done one before!

I know that it really annoys some shops when girls' boyfriends send them to get parts, or get something done.

try going there yourself

it was a couple tire shops that said no, but i did find a custom auto shop that will do it. im going to get the shocks next. i would have went myself, but i wanted it done before i came home from Iraq. anyone know of a place to get some shocks at a decent price? All i found was in the $720 range, and heard the springs will make the stock shocks wear out faster.

I have no advice to offer on the shocks Nathaniel, but I wanted to say thank you for your service and stay safe out there!

I would suggest looking at the kw variant shocks,,well i think they might just be coilovers, but that would be a good place to start for you, if that fails look into tein or h&r shocks,, good luck bra!!
