airlift makes the worst air bags i have ever seen or used. Ive had numerous friends blow the bands off their bags and slam to the ground. Their stuff is junk.
i've seen the older bags, not much rubber over the bands, and the seems were along the bands too.... it didn't look well constructed. the newer style however looks pretty solid. i guess i'll have to find out for myself. the place i'm buying/getting it installed has been doing air suspension/hydraulics for quite awhile now, and they actually recommended this product over all the others for that price range.
i'll just keep my figures crossed!
Not sure I buy their answer for cold climates. It will take more than a single water trap to remove enough water from the system to keep the valves from freezing in the winter. Even then, you still run the risk of a water trap not being able to remove enough moisture from the air to stop the water completely. Also make sure they install the water trap as far away from the compressors as possible. A 2-3 ft length of hose will not be enough distance to remove the water. The air coming out of the compressors will be hot. That short of a distance will not give the air enough time to cool as it goes through the water trap and the water trap will not be as effective at removing water.

that's some very good info!
thanks for the help!!
i'll have to make sure it's installed with enough hose.
Oct. 17, 2006 — Air Lift Company and EasyStreet announced today the release of new air spring suspension kits for the 2006-07 Dodge Charger, 2005-07 Chrysler 300C and 2005-07 Dodge Magnum. The new kits will fit both standard and SRT 8 models.
EasyStreet kits maintain stock handling and maneuvering while gaining the appeal of a lowered vehicle. The kits are 100 percent bolt-on — no cutting or welding required — allowing for an easy installation.

The front kit features a 5 ½” drop from stock height and 9-way adjustable struts. The rear kit features a 6” drop from stock height, and is ½” ported for maximum air flow providing quick raising and lowering action.

When are you going to get the car back? v I want to see some pictures/video.
Well the dual 3 Gallon tanks got stuck at the border (who would have guessed!?), so they are going ahead and putting a 5 Gallon SS tank which I'm guessing is a shorter and taller one? I'm thinking it will be ready by Friday, maybe Saturday.
I'll post pics for everyone as soon as possible.
And I'll do my best to put up a video too.

its not a big issue because the valves are in the car but if they do freeze get some air brake antifreeze and put it in the tank. I would just route the dumps outside the car so they dont blow that stuff all over the place
