I am interested in others experience with air suspensions, with stock shocks and with aftermarket shocks. I am looking for better ride overall, with less rolling, and also want to level out rear end when i attache 4 bikes to trailer towing bike rack. Lowering is fine, but that is not most important aspect to me.
How much does the trailer weight? Tounge weight? Overall weight?
You can PM me. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have, but don't want to bring this thread off topic.
Hi, I am not towing trailer, but have the mopar hidden hitch system to which I attach a bike rack for 4 bikes. The rear end sags, and backing out of the driveway, the hitch/bike rack scrapes the ground. Usually the car is loaded with other camping gear, so it is not just the bikes, but based on physics, their weight further out has more impact on the rear height. On another thread, it was suggested that the SRT-8 self leveling shocks might help (with the SRT-8 springs as well).

For the purpose you are looking for, a true air system wouldn't be needed. Like other's suggested, switching to the SRT 8 rear setup may cure the problem. Another option would be an air shock, or helper bag.
