Koni Adjustable Shocks

Well we have finally got some good news. Koni is receiving in our shocks next week from the factory in Holland and we should have them in 2 weeks.

Please don’t mistake these shocks from the other so called Koni shocks that were not built by the factory in Holland. These are Genuine Koni shocks designed and built by the factory in Holland. These shocks will be fully warranted by Koni with use of our air suspension systems.

We will be doing a set of mounts for all of you coil guy’s, but we won't have the brackets done for at least a month or two. As of right now they can be used with our air suspension system. Sorry AWD guys, these are only for the RWD’s.

Koni have engineered our Adjustable shock based off of their standard “sport” damper. The front’s are Adjustable though turning a knob on the shock shaft, the rears have to be removed from the car, Compressed down and turned to adjust the shock. The shocks have been shorten to allow for all of your lowering applications and not have the shocks bottom out giving a bad ride and a short life.

I personally have been testing the prototypes for the past 6 months and wow what a difference. I have ran, OEM 300, Bilstien, and an adjustable coil over and nothing can compare. There is a reason why Koni is the OEM supplier to most of your High end sports car.

Here is some information on Koni
http://www.koni-na.com/why.cfm

http://www.koni-na.com/heritage.cfm

Forum discount on the shock kit will be $800.

Zack,

Do you think these shocks will do away with all of the bouncing and make for a better touring type of ride versus the existing OEM 300 C shocks I have in the car ? Is this the shock that will do that or am I better off with the 300 touring shock in my car as replacements? Here in the OC, I drive the 241 toll way every day at high speeds. There are bad spots on the 241 that have ripples etc that can not be taken at high speeds. I have the 2006 300C original car, wheels and springs and pretty much looking for a better ride. I did not want to change the height of the car and was looking to soften up the ride.

Is $800 for the shocks only?

Thanks

Appreciate the input.

Al,

The shocks are designed to be stiffer then your standard OEM's. Now, a stiffer shocks in the sense when you go over a set of rolling hills (like the 15S to 60W) it will not allow the car to get that big "Floating" movement that they have. Most people think they want a softer shock because what they are feeling is the car moving instead of the tires going over the bumps when infact a stiffer shock will make the car not move upwards after the bump is over. If you want to take a ride out here i'll take you for a ride in my 300. Its has our air suspension on it aswell, but you will be able to see what a stiffer setup would feel like.

Zack,

Appreciate the input and so sorry for these novice suspension questions as at this point I am a little confused about what exactly is going to work for me on what is my daily drive. Let me think about this and will give you a call within a couple weeks to discuss further.

Many thanks

Well I guess I know where some of my tax return is going. LOL. Car is going back into the shop here real soon, so that will work out about perfect for timing.

Hey Zack, might as well give me the bank account number for UAS. I will just start having my checks direct deposited there instead. Hahaha

Well not sure about that. Once things get rolling on the next phase of the build up, I might have some other things I want from you guys. LOL.

These new shocks will not only be for the air ride guys correct? Will these work as a factory replacement for people wanting an adjustable shock but not going wanting to go any lower? Will these shocks still get the full lift with bags with them being shortened now?

I don't see anyone asking the normal questions so I figured I'd ask. LOL.

Thanks
Shawn

Yes as soon as we have the spring pearches in they will be ready for the coil guys. We are making the pearch adjustable kinda like how the eibach is so you can go lower if you want, if not you can raise it up to stock height.

The shocks still have the same amount of stroke, just a shorter compressed height (about an inch).
