Ok this is to anyone with a lowered LX. You may notice after you lower your car that your camber is off a tad bit. Sometimes alignment shops can fix the issue but it would be best to get the correct parts right away.
I have noticed that three of my tires are wearing out from the inside. So I took it to the dealer and they told me that my camber is way off and that I would need to get some new parts.
So after a bit of looking around I found this company. SPC Performance and they make some fantasic parts for a wide varity of cars. I took a look at there site and saw that they make the pieces that I MUST have.
Here are a few pictures of the parts that came in today. They look very well built and I can't wait til I can get it all installed. I am waiting on 4 new tires to come in and then I can have everything done and done RIGHT with SPC Performance parts! I will be taking a ton of pictures of the install and the bad tires and bad parts.
Also I hope that I can find that "clanking" noise that is coming from the driver side rear that a lot of people are noticing as well.
Now to the great parts! Front Upper Control Arms:
Rear Replacement Bushings:
Yes you see two different sets for the rear. One set will be going back. I wasn't 100% sure which one I needed so I had both sent to me.
Remember this is just part 1 out of 2 or maybe 3...

Thanks! I've heard good things about SPC... also, now that you and John (Fatchance) have posted positive reviews, I will get mine!
Then off to Soulspeed in austin for install and tweaking..
Which set you going to use for the rear? 1.5?

I put these bad boys on a few months back and they are sick as f*ck! Eventhough I'm rollin' in a V6 I turn corners like a mad man w/ little to no bodyroll...even wear on my tires too!
Expensive but highly recommended (that sounded like eBay feedback!)

I am confused on the issue with the rear bushings.
The SPC website has a template that is supposed to be used to determine the correct bushing size. How do you know which bushing to order, or to use?
Is the only difference the offset, 3/4" vs. 1.5" offset, or is it more involved?
^^ I was going to ask my tech before ordering, as he is outstanding in this regard..
Otherwise ???????

Yes I saw that template in the box as well... I just ordered both sets and will return the one's that I don't need. The shop that will be doing the work for me will know which set to use. I am not taking the risk of not having the correct ones for the install.
I heard that I should have went to a shop before hand and have them measure and see which set to order but what the heck...

Ohhh Mighty Noid! I just love being confused by all this suspension stuff. You are just about talking me out of getting the TEINs or even the KWs! All this money for new tires, etc. would drain me.

Yep, I thought it required a premeasurement. I printed that template and took off my rear wheel to see if I could figure it out. It was a joke. The template is a joke. You basically have to take the suspension apart to get a correct measurement. The difference between the two sizes is too small for a paper template.
You did the best thing by ordering both.
I am interested in the rear bushings because they are cheap and my rear camber is worse than my front. But my tire wear looks normal after 20k miles, so I may not get the kit until I use up my first set up tires.
A fully worn tire will tell me if I need a camber kit.
