strut bar help!!!! PLEASE

hey guys just got a strut bar in my 3.5 300 is it normal after install to hear like a squeeking noise at all and a slight vibration at the pedels when stopped and idleing im thinking that i just need to break it in? am i wrong?

Hey Bullet,

Got your PM. This isn't normal and doesn't sound like it related to the strut bar either. There's no breaking in needed too. All you did was remove 6 nuts, install the bar and replace the nuts at 20lbs of torque.

Make sure they're tight enough but don't over do it. Several guys have snapped the bolts. 20 - 22lbs max.

thanks for your help but the wierd part is i took it off and there is no more vibration creek or anything i mean i know they make the dcstrut bar for the 5.7 but i was like it has to fit the 3.5 maybe i messed up.... maybe its because i have a AWD 300

like to know if you installed the strut bar again,looking to install one on my 300 limited.if you put the bar back on,is there anymore problems

Can Someone Tell Me Where Can I Purchase A Dc Strut Bar,i Was Looking To Purchase From A Vender On This Sight But It Seems That They Are Not Here Anymore.is This Bar For All 300 Because I Have A 300 Limited 05.thanks

There seems to be a shortage of the strut bar because DC Sport was purchased by Pilot Automotive and production is being transferred to China.

But there may still be some in stock.
I found my strut bar about a month ago using google, from Motorweb.com.
AEM Upper Strut Bar [Part#: CSB1102]

Here is a google search on the "CSB1102 chrysler 300c"
There are lots of hits.
