Brad

I got them for both reasons, and I think they are one of the best suspensions i've tried out. My car is slammed to the ground and handles like a champ, except for some driveways I have no problem driving it like this. I drove it to Vegas and it was really comfortable believe or not. It is a great product.

How would you define "handling like a champ"? What do you have your car set up to do? Would you put your car's handling up against an M5 (have you ever driven an M5 to compare the two)? Is your car set up for wide turns or tight turns? Did the coil overs help get the steering from understeer to neutral? How did it compare in terms of body roll?

Would you or could you ever take this car on a road course or do some prolonged mountain driving without worrying about overheating the shocks or blowing them out? Did the shocks affect weight transfer? Do they prevent the nose from diving into turns? How is lateral weight transfer affected? Does this set up cause the car to porpoise or have a see-saw affect? At what point did the tail of the car ever step out on you? Can oversteer be induced? Did the suspension give you plenty of advanced warning before it went beyond its limits?

What exactly did KZ design the valve settings and spring compression combination to do? Which KZ model did you get? Street version? Competition version?

What kind of alignment settings did you change when you mounted the new coil overs? Camber, caster, toe...? Did you have the car corner weighted with the new shocks?

Does anyone know how this suspension even compares to the SRT-8 suspension settings?

I would appreciate more detailed feedback beyond "handles like a champ". From what it sounds like you bought this for the Bling/poser effect more than anything else. In this case, why didn't you just go with an airbag suspension?

Please don't take any of this personally, bcause I don't know you from Adam. I am here to learn about the performance aspects of this suspension for a SEMA car project.

Brad

Lighten up Brad. Not everyone has the same agenda with their car, and are not necessarily posers for doing mods just to change the look of their car. Hence, that is why this posting is in the Ext. Visual Mods. section and not the Performance Mod section.

I too am intersted in this mod for performance reasons, yet I'm grateful for the insights that VIPedition has shared here. Especially the comment on how it rode on a trip to Vegas.

Check out www.KWsuspension.com for answers to your tech questions. They offer a lot of info there, and I'm sure you can contact them directly for additional info.

I hope you don't think that I am slamming you here, as that is not my intention. I know that you said not to take the comments personally, yet they still came off as abrasive. If posters to this form fear that they will be called posers, or any other negative label, they might be inclined not to share their experiences. We all lose if that happens.

Lets all be friends

LOOKS GREAT! What wheel/tire combo is that? Any special offset required/wheel well mods required to get that low?
