Everyday driver with UAS?

Ok guys i have a great deal of background on the Truck/Mini Truck side. (Associate Publisher for Truckin' - Sport Truck - Mini Truckin') YES YES Shameless plug...

With my Mini Truckin readers many of them dont use thier bagged vehicles as everyday drivers.

So I ask you how many people here use UAS bags as thier everyday driver vehicles? I just want to know because I would love to put bags on my 300 but terrified because thats the only vehicle I have. Thanks guys.

not a 300 but...

well, I can tell you my son drives his 92 silverado EVERYWHERE. It has full air suspension with narrowed rear and can lay the frame with 22's.

He loves it. As long as you keep some functional shock absorbers there is no reason you can't drive it anywhere!

ive been bagged since last june, everyday driver & i abuse the sh*T out of it with no problems what so ever

the only difference from my setup then the one from UAS are the valves, im running smc 1/2 valves. Most if not all here with bagged 300s are daily driven.....i know two that have had it for a lil over a year and havent had a problem......overall they are a very reliable company with great customer service, plus the forum discount helps out some

I don't personally drive my car year round, so can't comment too much on it. I do know the biggest issue with any bagged setup is going to be winter weather. I know most guys that live in cold climates use air line antifreeze to keep their valves from freezing.

If you don't have to worry about freezing, then you should be good to go. As long as the install is done properly, you should never have a problem with the UAS kit.

I can't remember exactly, but I believe Zack has over 75K miles on his bagged setup and he drives his car daily.

As Shawn has already stated here, this is the MOST important part of the equation in my opinion. The dependability, reliability, overall satisfaction (pick any word/description you'd like to use) with the air ride is going to rest on how well the install is done.

As for your daily driven question, reference these threads for some more info. Some threads aren't titled like yours, but the information within them may answer some more of your questions regarding the bags.

thanks Simans82, ive rpretty much reacd most of them and think im gonna take the dive and do it... As far as reliability i think im just gonna have UAS do the install. I would love to do it myself but with the no patience syndrome, i dont think I will last.... Although man oh man would it be cool to do it...

Thanks Shawn, I DO daily drive my car, 100 miles at least a day, and i know that i am very bias, but the only thing that i have had to replace or "maintain" in the system was replacing the compressors when they wore out. I have done a few shock changes to R&D up a few different things but nothing has ever caused me to be stranded.

When my compressors were going out, one of them went and i could tell that it was taking alot longer to refill so within a week i just changed them both out.

As of right now i am at about 73k miles and its been bagged since the first day.

LOL. Sometimes I wish I lived in an area that was warm year round. But then I wouldn't be able to have my car down for mods. The winter time is perfect for moddin. If it was warm, not sure I would be happy about having my car down for any period of time. Hahaha.
