Pedders Day in Phoenix. ROADTEST A PEDDERIZED LX AND A LAMBORGHINI!!
As Paul mentioned, there is a big Pedders event at Anthem Motors in Phoenix this Saturday. We will have lots of interesting things happening. We will give free 28 Point Pedders suspension checks to all that want it.
There has been lots of talk about Pedders on this forum. Come see for yourself what it is all about. We will have mutliple Lx vehicles for you to drive that have been Pedderized. We will have techs on hand to assist you in any needs.
Come see what we have been discussing about torn bushings and how to check them yourself.
As a fun note, there will be multiple very hot cars there. You will see lots of 600 hp Cobras, and will most likely have 2 Lamborginis there for you to see, and 1 to roadtest!!. Also, we have a Lambo with the motor out. Come see it and check out what a $300,000 car looks like torn apart. See what a $5k hose repair looks like!!!
But also come and see what everyones rides look like. All of you are so creative, it is a pleasure seeing your love and creativity. We will have the MEISTER there. If you have never had the pleasure of meeting him, he is a wealth of LX knowledge, and a true gift to humanity. He has the fastest 5.7 Hemi around as all of you know. You may be able to convince Jim to give you a roadtest. But if you do, make sure you fasten your seat belt!! Also you will be able to see what the MEISTERS LX drives like fully Pedderized.
I wish I could get anywhere near a Pedders event or shop. You boys don't seem to have much interest in the entire eastern seaboard except for Jersey or Florida. Screwed I am.

It is not easy to become a pedders dealer. to start, most of them that are accross the country have been some kind of reverral process. Then we check them out, interview, many times do a shop inspection, review the business, check out references, etc. All of us in the pedders organization work some very long hours, not to mention the huge amont of time in travel and training. We do not just sell parts to shops. We certify them. It is a lengthy adn costly process, but it works for us. I do not know where i the USA you are in. So tell me. Ask some buddies, and come up with a list of potential dealers that you would feel comfortable having them spend a lot of tie on your suspension, ad you would trsut them to do it, and treated you in an exceptionally positive way.

I feel I'm in the same boat. I'm about 4 hours away from a dealer in
my area, and can't believe I'm contemplating taking a family vacation
just so I can have the car worked on while I'm there.
Can you guys pick a dealership in Joliet, IL? (I don't live there, but I've
purchased cars from different dealers and the repair shops in that
area have always treated me nicely).
Atlanta
Tampa and New Orleans needs a vehicle for training. Atlanta and Tampa have already done several vehicles and would be happy to assist you. Here is a link to our dealer locator.
That site says that there is a dealer in Slidell, LA (less than an hour from me) is that correct?!

I tried to get you guys set up with the only real shop anywhere near me but they slacked on you. I do appreciate all the effort Paul put into it. I'm a trained mechanic and have a friend with a private "members only" shop so I took the job upon myself using his facility.
To anybody who reads this and thinks about it think hard. I have owned my own race bike shop and built/raced my own GSX-R's and YZF's for many years. I also went to tech school but went after far more money than the field had to offer by my early 20's. It is a heck of a job doing this install. My C is in a hundred pieces right now and we had to make some tools to do it right, and you need alot of tools to make other tools with them. In the end it will be well worth it for the satisfaction of seeing it go back together though. The cradle will be a work of art once I get it all back together "Pedderfied".
And in another post some folks accused Pedders of using scare tactics in relation to showing ripped bushings and such. Mine looks just the same as they showed. Some of the main front bushings are literally torn. The cradle bushings are dry-rotted around the edges and soft as jelly. I can move the center crush tube over an inch with my fingers. Your whole rear cradle rides primarily on four huge bushings. And they're all crap to put it nicely. It may cost alot, even for the parts, but it's better than what we all have going on in all the places we never see in our cars.

I have never heard of a "members only" repair facility. Is it a shop that allows you to do work in yourself? If so, what is the costs? Here in Ca, the liabiltiy and workers comp and training requirements from OSHA, and hazmat poeple would really put a squish to this
Good luck on your install. It is challenging to do all the 42 bushes. So be patient and careful. Take pictures to document your processes.
