I'd sure like to hear a testimonial from one of the folks on the forum that track their LX - especially SRT variants. I've had my SRT long enough to be interested in improving its handling, but I have no way to evaluate your option compared to others. I would pay close attention to opinions of NorthernRider, DanRealtor or any of the others that are serious about tracking these cars.

I'd think it would be of interest to hear from Meister as well and Matt Robertson... Cool Vanilla to name a few others.

Please don't misinterpret my post. I like your writeup and am interested in your product. But...its also very expensive and new to this market. Hearing from the luminaries on this site would go a long way towards improving my comfort level.

Tim - thanks for the other names, I knew there were others I was missing, but was having a "senior moment". I had dinner with Grinner this week and got to hear some good Meister stories, so I didn't even have an excuse there...

From my memory bog from another thread, doesn't the whole kit cost in the $7k range, or was it $5k? And then add the cost of the install, maybe 8 hours x $100 = $800. While the kit is beautiful and probably performs up to expectations, that is serious pocket change to plunk down.

I followed the link from another post to the Pedders web site and it looks like the complete kit with springs and dampeners for all wheels runs about $3K. If you drop the springs and dampeners out of the kit it looks like about $2K, plus install. Not cheap by any means but better than $7K. There is just no end to how we can spend money on our cars is there?

Ok. Not sure why the higher numbers stick in my brain.

$3k isn't a bad deal. I paid $1,420k for KWv2's plus $340 for Hotchkis sways = Total $1,760. An extra $1.2k might be worth it for the rest of the package. I also paid $400 for the KWv2 install and $265 for the Hotchkis install.
If I was still stock and looking to upgrade, the $3k plus $800 for the install would be on my short list. But it would be good to have someone that has done the upgrade give an objective comparison.

OK - I went searching and found this post **Got Pedders**

Total cost including install @ $75/hour is $5,800. The install is 16 hours - 2 full days.

JusticePete,

I need to improve my suspension, so please, HELP!

My 2006 300C SRT8 rides on 22 inch wheels with 265 pirelli scorpion tires. Problem was, I badly needed more clearance because we have to many bumps in my location. I solved that, buy handling is uncomfortable, and I should be changing my wheels back to 20 inches next month.

I would still need the additional clearance from the floor, which may be obtained by using bigger tires, but would like to keep/improve handling, and certainly improve comfort!!! I love my car but our roads are quite bad!

Do you think any of your products can help me to achieve what I am looking for in my car?

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Just300

You need more clearance to the road becuase you are bottoming out the undercarriage to the road bed or bottoming out the suspension on the bump stops?

David,

One of the strengths of the Pedders Dealer Network is that we make cars available for test rides / drives. The West Coast Business Development Manager Mike White (on the forum as dms for Doing Mike's Sh--) just completed the Fairfield Pedders / Cadillac / Chevrolet shop certification and demo HEMI. Fairfield is in the San Fran Bay area. Bob Morreale at Precision Motorsports near Tampa Bay has his personal Pedderised R/T. Rich, Brandon and Justin up at Norpac in the Northwest have a Pedderised SRT 8 for demos. John Panfil at Anthem Motors in Phoenix has a Pedderised Charger R/T as his personal car.Our other Dealers either have a car in process or have worked it out with a customer to provide demos. The Desert Madness event is a MAJOR demo event.

Pedders is offering special pricing for the cars we use to for in shop education. Ted Wiens i looking for a special customer right now. The hard core guys you mention are welcome to contact me or any of our Dealers to see if there is a specially priced promotional suspension available. We allocated one to each Pedders Dealer for exactly this reason. Have you hardocre track guys contact a Pedders Dealer.

If you already have KWs and / or Hotchkis sways on your 300C they are not working any where near thier potential. The foundational instability of the bushes prevents them from functioning at optimum levels. A Pedders Track II bush kit (no dampers, coils or sways will transform the car, but don't take my word for it.

Read any of my posts in any forum and they always say the same thing. Take a demo ride / drive. Don't buy by charts, graphs or data. Get in a Pedderised car -- be be warned. Test riding / driving a Pedderised car has been know to cause severe suspension envy and sleepless nights. Check with your accountant before taking a Pedderised demo. Doctors have determined there is only one known cure for suspension envy --Pedderise!
