Quick help please: Removing sway bar end links.

I'm in the process of doing an SRT-8 strut/shock/spring install on my 300C. I am using the instructions I found here: How-To Install Lowering Springs * - LX Forums Modern Mopar Muscle My problem is that I cannot get the sway bar end link nuts off. Here's a picture of the nuts I've trying to remove:

I hit it with my impact gun, and the whole bolt just spins. I don't see any way to grip the bolt to hold it still while removing the nut. I tried gripping the bolt with a pair of pliers but it still spun. (There's not enough bolt to get a solid grip on it, and my vise-grips are too wide to fit in there.) Surely I didn't damage anything by using the impact gun, right?

So what's the trick here--how do I get these nuts off?

Just hold the nut with a Key and turn the bolt with a 10mm ratchet
