PEDDERS Ride height Comparison Rear Spring choices SRT8

Ok I am going to post some pictures of some difference spring choices from Pedders Suspension. They make so many choices, and every one I have tried has been perfect feeling but now I got the look that I really wanted. Lower than stock but still a slight rake to the car. There are 3 part numbers pictured below the first will be stock ride height after that we will have the 7981 rear spring, the next one will be the next one lower which they call the 7026R (this is the latest one I have, and love the look), and finally you will see the lowest one I tried which is the 7026L (funny there was BARELY room for a finger under the fender, but still there was no rubbing and the ride was still superior to stock).

Anyone in PHX or the AZ area that wants to check this stuff out, you should see Ken Goins over at GAME in Chandler AZ here is the website. Welcome to G.A.M.E. Rides and here is the site for Pedders Pedders Suspension

OK FIRST STOCK SRT RIDE HEIGHT.

OK NEXT WE HAVE THE 7981 rear spring (they call this stock SRT height)

OK Here is the one I have now, which is the 7026R spring (I LOVE IT)

OK LAST IS THE 7026L. This spring was low, and could barely get a finger between the tire, and the fender, but I did not get any rubbing. I also had one person in the back seat, but never 2 people. Not sure how that would have worked.

The 7026R looks the best in my opinion

7026L! Me likey lots. I like the lower look. What size are your viper rims 20 or 22? What size tire are you running? I like the painted roof. I did mine like that right before SF.

The package I went with was the Full Track 2 Suspension from Pedders. I do not unfortunately know the part numbers for the front springs. They did the full Bush upgrade, all shocks struts, sways, springs, bump steer correction, camber kit...

The wheels are 22" VIPERS NON Stagger with 265.35.22 tires from Dunlop!

I like the look, and they were not expensive. SO that was even better!

I think your latest adjustment is right on with I think your new 22" inch wheels. Your previous adjustment 7026L was certainly to tight and I would be worried as there was not much clearence.

I personally like the 7981 look I think those are 20" charger wheels (please confirm) as the 7981 is what has been recommended for my car. I will still ride with the stock 18". I think the angle of the photo (front to rear look at an angle - Page 4) make some difference on the look. This looks good. The back end does look a bit high with the 7981's when the photo is taken straight on. The base car 300C looks a bit like this as well where the back end hangs up some. I may need to study this some.

I trust your ride is still a wow and very much superior to what you had to start with.

20" charger SRT wheels were on there yes!

Ride is unmatched, I am in love with driving it, and the firmness was much welcomed. Funny I didnt give up any ride quality though ??? (HOWD THEY DO THAT?) LOL

Mike is setting up an open house in Huntington Beach sometime in April. Want to drive the modified car first to better understand the ride. Sounds good from all reports...

So springs alone can be used to lower the height of SRT's in the rear??? There were some who mentioned load leveling of some sort in SRT's that would prevent springs alone from properly lowering...

Also, did you ever find out which front spring are you using?

Fronts are 2940

Rears are 7026R right now...

And yes springs are always used to lower all cars! Doesnt matter what kind of car.

However the shocks and struts from pedders are so amazing, I am glad I changed. You can buy whatever pieces you want, and do them in stages!
