Outer Tie Rod Failure - What rim size are you running?

For those that have replaced outer tie rods, what rim size are you running?
The purpose of this poll is to see if heavier rims/wheels might be causing the failures.

From the 7 responses so far, all the failures except 1 was on the stock wheels.

Keep the votes coming if you had a outer tie rod failure.

I'll bet the results so far are surprising you, joey, considering you have thought the failures to be caused by larger and/or heavier rims. We shall see since this poll was a good idea to post up.

So far, I don't have any issues that I know of on my 20" rims at 3.5 years of age.

You are absolutely right Bruno. The results are surprising. Especially considering how many folks on this forum have 20's/22's. Probably more than the normal population. With 7 failures out of 135 views, it would appear the failure rate may not be as bad as thought.

Outer tie rod? Is that the same thing as the stabilizer bar which I think connects to the sway bar? I had this replaced recently but don't what to vote if it's different.

I should have included a pic in my original post.
If the dealer replaced the outer tie rod under warranty you probably never saw the part. Dealers don't usually give you the bad parts that are replaced under warranty.

Here are two views.

Great pics. It was the sway bar end link that broke on mine.

I've not heard of any SRT's having this issue. I did on my 5.7 at 30K miles.
