I can usually nail the durometers of urethane dead on because most of the design work I do for my company revolves around urethane products. Well if you saw the contstruciton of our big bushes, since youa re in the biz, you would appreciate the quality of our manufacturing. You also would know that all raw material and the catalysts are not made the same as well.
We encapsulate our patented grease in the ferrule hole of the bush. We have no air bubbles in our bushes like some, and our molds are state of the art and way beyond some of our competitiion.
With that said, The R&D that Pedders did on the LX suspension was very serious. And the proof is in the ride. Things like eliminating the 1/2 inch side to side movement of the rear cradle assembly, to making radius rod bushes that work and do not tear. As far as I know, we are the only suspension company that allows full racing and warranty. we do not care. Our warranty rates have bee less tha .1 of 1%. And a significant majority of those were due to poor installation procedures from non trained pedders dealers. The strategic voids in some of the bushings take a huge amount of anaylsis to determine size, shape, location, etc.
