Can i put regular 300c coils on 2005 awd ?

Hi, i'm new here and in the process of buying a new 300c.

With the weather here i would like to go the AWD way but 2 things are holding me back .... I like the stock chrome 18 inch wheels and i dont like the AWD sitting up so high.

Can i Put Stock RWD coil springs on a AWD so its going to sit a little lower.

As for the Rims go, i think they would fit but the offset would be ugly as hell !

Thanks for helping me !

We run the same bag setup on the AWD's just different install (don't cut the collar) The fronts i don't think that it would be a good idea because the spring pearch on the struts are aprox 2" lower on the strut on the AWD's vs. the RWD's and that will be a HUGE drop at the wheel.

Here is some pics of an AWD with our suspension.

If your only looking to do a static drop, i would suggest looking at doing a set of springs ment for the AWD's like the eibach's

Eibach Springs - Performance Suspension, Lowering Springs, Shocks, Sway Bars, Coil-Overs and Wheel Spacers!

Short answer, yes, you can.....

Long Answer, short version, don't do it, it will drop it to mush and the front subframe will bottom out since it's 2 inches lower on an AWD car than the RWD cars, combine that with the spring perch being different and you have the front sub frame about 5-6 inches lower than it was, and it will bottom out very easy.

We offer AWD springs, and will have an AWD front shock available soon. (Rear are the same as the RWD cars)
