Question: installing UAS

Hey peps! I just purchased a used UAS kit and had a question about installing the rear. I'm going to install it myself and forgot to ask the previous owner if I can use the stock shocks with the UAS. I read a article about installing it and it said that the rear will not lower with the stock shocks. Can anyone please help!!
