Neat! How does that work? Can we call it the Joey mod?

It isn't really a permanent "mod" as the transmitter and receiver run on batteries.
I only hook them up when I am trying to locate a suspension noise, or rule out a suspension component.

The alligator type clips are attached to a suspension/steering part and the transmitter and receiver is turned on.
I then drive the car with the receiver on my lap and listen to the receiver.
In the pic above I have two alligator clips attached to the inner and outer tie rod.

Here are some videos of the receiver that is on my lap as I am driving.

The popping sound in the first video is coming from a transmitter clip hooked to my KW coilover spring.
The second vid is the same thing but showing how I am driving that causes the popping. The loud hissing sound are the disk brakes.
