After trying both I would say if I had the dosh lying around I would go the coil overs again, seems a more firm ride but would use either, maybe if I tracked it I would justify the coil overs but the only real reason I keep them fitted as I can adjust my ride height in the front from mega low to mega high in about 5 minutes rather than remove the strut, change coils and reassemble before I go away on holidays.

Did I mention I paid only $150.00AUD for a set of second hand Bilstein Coil overs set off eBay ready to go RRP was $3000.00AUD for the set new

Here is a couple of pics

Here is a picture of our dampers and drop coils. They offer a killer ride and great performance.

And you do not need a spring compressor to do this job.

Hi mate, nah looked the same height with struts or coil overs, I used the same spring, after having tried both I would say the coil overs strut offer a better ride them the factory strut, I would imagine that the coil over strut would be just as good ride as an after market strut from Pedders ect.....Ride is more better with a slightly firmer strut assy in my opinion, and nah it doesn't jump all over the road, have a look at my Youtube video link below

Not yet,

Very soon, we will have a 30 way adjustable coil over set that will be a monotube design, with mutliple coils to choose from. Plus our design will not require changing spring rates to adjust height. Plus the price will be exceptional. We are testing the coil overs now as I type

Hey Mate!

Not too many LXs in the country Down under!. I watched your video. It is cool seeing the steering wheel on the wrong side(LOL)

Your ride looks sweet. those are definately flashy 24s! I really like how they flash at you while you are driving slowly.

Pedders Au had to buy a SRT8 for testing/fitments, etc. It blows me away how much your cars cost over there!!

With your drop and the big wheels, which I am sure are quite heavy, you really need to watch your tie rods, bump steer and radius rod. those bad boy 24s will stress the heck out of your suspension.

I do not know if they still have the LX or not that they used initially, They may need a LX for test fitments. But the guys there are pretty darn good. They did our drop coils for our GM full size Utilities based on a bunch of measurements and never saw the vehicle. They were spot on!.

You are in Queensland?
