Angry vibrating after new tie rod ends

I have a 2005 300C and had a bad vibrating problem. I was told by a local shop that I had a bad passenger inner tie rod end. I went the extra mile and changed both inner tie rod ends and both outter tie rod ends. Since then, I still have a bad vibrating problem and have had it aligned twice and tires balaced twice. What else could it be???? The car is driving me nuts. I cant tell where the vibration is coming from, it feels like the entire car is shaking and the passenger seats is vibrating like crazy. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about your incessant problems. It's definitely a mystery for many other on this forum, regardless of what parts they have replaced. I certainly don't have the answer. Read through the attached thread link and see if something you read there could possibly be the cause. I hope someone else will drop by and offer some assistance.

The car has stock struts with eibach springs. It has been lowered since new and the vibration problem has only been a problem the last 3 months or so. Tires are new also. I will try to take the Tinnerman clips off this weekend. I think I might have a really small spacer in the back I will remove also. I noticed on my last set of tires that the rear passenger tire was wore in the inside. Im still confused......

joey seems to have far more experience with this issue and has done a good job trying to track down this problem along with some other suspension issues. Seems like the vibration timing is associated with the new tire install (?).....

If you have the stocker slap them back on and test it.
But if you have a wear problem in the rear you should get the camber kit to adjust it. Eibach makes one now. Problem could be bad balance or bad tire. Also look at all the rims weights you might have lost one.

Hi VHILLSMTZ.
Just a few things to checkout.
(1) Does the vibration come in at a particular speed?
(2) Can you drive out of it by either accellerating or slowing(without applying the brakes)?
(3) Does anything change when you apply the brakes? eg: does it make it worse or better or no difference.
(4) Does it only vibrate when travelling in a straight line or all the time even when on a curve?
(5) Does the road surface make a difference? (eg: ok on rough surface or worse etc)
With this info it will be a simple matter of figuring if it is a 'balance' or 'mechanical' problem or a combination of both. Either way, there are enough talented people around here to indentify and sort it out.
I use to specialise in tyres, wheels, suspension and front-end diagnostics and troubleshooting, so if I am able to contribute in some small way, I won't feel so bad about asking for help down the track.
I hope something I have mentioned will ring a bell for someone.

Maybe your stocks/struts are bad. The stock shocks/struts should only last a year or two after the car has been lowered with eibach or other springs.

Like Scarb's said. Rotating or temporarily replacing your wheels would help eliminate your wheels as the problem.

Also check your tension strut bushings. Many of the older cars bushing start to crack/tear. But I don't think it is normal for bad tension strut bushings to cause a vibration. They usually cause a clunking noise. This is a pic of my driver side bushing. You can easily see the bushing when the wheels are off.
