lowering

base 300.

I want to get 20's for my car, but everyone is telling me it will look like a truck of i dont lower it. I am hesitant to lower it because in winter i go back to 17's. and because of the price.

What is the cheapest way i can lower my car without making the ride too harsh. and no springs only, because i know my stock shocks will give. What am i looking it in total in terms of price.

and how much do i need to lower the car for 20's ?

gotta host them on a site like photobucket, or else just attach them.

As far as lowering...... most of the aftermarket wheel/tire combo sizes we use invariably end up the same or slightly larger outside diameter than the OEM stock wheels/tires. it is just the smaller sidewall of the 20/22/24" tire that makes it look strange, and the bigger the rim size, the worse it looks.

20's aren't bad, 22"s will have folks telling you to lower the truck. But it does look good lowered about 1.5".

Yeah, but you will be ok with 20's, even thought the lowering bug will hit you sooner or later.

As far as the cheapest lowering option for the thread OP,,,, I would imagine the Eibach or pedders spring/shock combo is about the cheapest that isn't crap.
