Personally we don't carry AZ. With personal option aside, if you look at the cost for the pumps and compair them to the viair's you will see that when you purchase a viair 380 combo pack they will have a faster fill time, and same/less amp draw for aprox the same cost.

Now, if money/amp draw is no issue, yes a pair of AZ's will fill faster then a pair of 480's. But, for the money, I would run 4 viairs over 2 az's.

as far as a single pump, i don't like the idea because compressors will always go out in an air system... Its a normal wear & tear item. If your running only a single compressor and it goes out, then you have to hurry and try to get another one, and hopefully it doesn't go out somewhere on the road... with the pair, you will usually have some time to get "around" to replacing them...
