The softer springs would allow the heavier front end of 300C to sag a little lower. Why would you even consider this?

Sometimes free = worthless. I mean, what would you hope to achieve by installing softer springs. Only the front end would ride lower due to the slightly heavier front end with the V8 and and would bottom out easier. Normally when you lower your car, you use stiffer springs so you are not slamming into the suspension stops all the time.

I mistakenly put V8 springs on my V6 car and it raised it about an inch in the front only. I will be swapping back out tomorrow.
