Thumbs up Thanks Gentlemen (was "clunking")

You guys are great!! Once again i would have saved a bunch of money had i checked this forum first. On my '05 300C, 57,000 miles, I had the annoying clunking sound (like a broken shock) when i went over bumps in the road. I changed a bunch of front suspension parts, no luck. Then i went to the dealer parts dept. and bought the "stabilizer bar bushings" $ 12 for the pair. It was a warm day here today in NY, so i got under the car and 30 minutes later, i was done.
Now, NO clunking noise over bumps... AWESOME... As usual, the info here is right on the money.
Thanks for the tip.

I got to do this on the wifes Maggie. I had the old changed this weekends and check the sways and man they are tight. I can't believe its them but for the price i have to do that before tearing about the Tension rods which might not be the problem.

Joe was it really that easy to do? It looks like 2 bolts holding them on after you take off the aluminum shield.

It was easy as hell. Much easier and less work than waxing the car.. Whoever figured out this fix is a genius, because before you change them, they look great, the bar has no play, and the rubber is not cracked.
