Pedders springs for self leveling shocks?

Has anyone installed the Pedders kit for a nivomat equipped 300? Any pics? It has 2941 rear springs and 2940 front springs. I'm just wondering how the car will be lower in the rear with the self leveling shocks after reading that it will go back to stock height with just springs being replaced.

it has been done, but i still say that if you replace the rear springs you should rip out the nivomat's and destroy them, then replace them with our rear shocks, lol

(not a fan of the Nivomat)

I'm wondering how it is possible to lower the rear? It doesn't seem to make sense to me.

THE 2941 coils were made specifically for the Nivomats, and they do work.

2941 REAR COILS WITH NIVOMATS AND 20 INCH TIRES WILL DROP THE REAR 25MM OR 1 INCH.

You are better off, however, going with the touring package that will give you damapers, coils, and front bump steer. The handling is significantly better.
But I do know there is a cost difference. But rest assured, these springs do work on the Nivomats

thanks
mike

Ok, I've already got 20" so I assume it would be more pronounced with 22's?

If you are talking about the drop, it is still the same drop in distance. It boils down to how tall your 22's are compared to 20 inchers.

Here are some basic info on heights on a Charger RT (from lower wheel lip to fender opening thru center.
OE rear with 20s is at 707mm
OE rear with 22s is at 733mm

Pedders 2941 rear coils for Nivomats, approx 1inch drop
with 20's at approx 655mm
with 22's a approx 680mm.

If you want to convert these numbers to inches, devide by 25.4. But it is more accurate measuring in mm.

Hope this helps

Ok, the overall height (rim and tire) with the factory 20's that are on the car now is 28.7 inches. Overall height of the 22's I'll put on is 29.3 for a difference of +.6. Would I be correct in saying that with the Pedders and the 22's there will be 1.6 less inches of fender gap than what I currently have?
