I keep hearing speculation etc etc. Does anyone here know eibach's R&D process? I'm not saying it's better than pedders, I'm sayin it's a pretty good product and for the most part eibach makes good products. I got my eibach stuff from a friend who recommended it and hooked me up on the price. And he really knows his stuff.
I saw one video of pedders... And I'll leave that at that. Ok a rep came on here and said put the two cars up and see how blah blah. I think it's kind of known that there is no rep from eibach on here or that it'll ever happen. The hateing on one product to promote another is retarded.

The title of this thread is "eibach v Pedders". There are lots of differences between our Pedders product and Eibach. Lets be specific: Ride quality is a big one. Our Pedders coils use more usuable coils than Eibachs. This gives Pedders coils a longer life, more comfort, better support. We have replaced many Eibach sets with Pedders due to ride qualitiy issues on the LX platform.
I am not sure what the annual sales are of Eibach but Pedders is over $125,000,000 a year. We are no babes in the woods. So with that in mind, lets compare Eibach with some of the other products we have here in the USA.
1. GTO, Eibach is I think the cheapest of the coils out there. However, you get what you pay for. The rear coils use 1 active coil, After a year or so, the coils begin to deflect and change. Throw a couple of buddies in the back seat, and you are driving off on the bump stops. Hit a bump and you will get a sizeable jolt.
2. GM900 Utilities (Tahoe, Denali, Escalade, etc) Again, a lot less usuable coils. But the big issue is consistancy in ride heights with the fronts with over 3/4 inch variations from coil set to coil set. This is a big deal because of the geometry of the front end and what that does with negative cambers, not to mention ride quality.
3. The new Camaro. GM contacted us because the new show car Camaros 4-5 of them, are having rear springs slide off of their perches, thus creating height issues and noises. This is exactly what you want for a show car that you demo. NOT!! They were given the same electronic engineering notes that we were. Our springs worked!.
Now there are some products out there that Eibach does well with. But for their prices to be so low, they have to cut corners somewhere.
the LX community does appear, in general, to be more into looks than function. But an LX can kick some serious butt with some mods to their suspension. We showed the world in New Jersey that we can take a 300c hemi, and turn a .99g on a 200 foot skid pad. Do some checking. I refer you to the "Benchmark testing thread so you can see where a .99g skid pad testing falls within other serious performance vehicles.
It was totally appropriate to be nice and ask guys to put the 2 vehicles side by side, and look at the differences. I still challenge you to do so, and roadtest the 2 different cars. Unless you have novacain(sorry for the spelling) injectied in you butt, you will be able to feel the difference. Roadtesting our products is the ultimate test.
There is no retarded hating, just telling facts that are duplicatable. Now if I made a thread on this and was not asked to compare differences between the 2, then you would have a point.
