I changed my KW V2's out for Tein SS coil-overs with the EDFC in-car valving adjustment unit. I can honestly say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread... want it so stiff there's almost zero body roll... drop them to 00 front and rear... want a bit of dampening but still sporty as all get-out set them at 2 front and rear... driving on 66 and 495 around D.C. losing fillings slamming over pavement patches? Hit the preset button set to 16 front and rear and your gliding over the bumps... you just can't beat it. And the entire set-up ran around $1700.00 with all the servo motors and control unit as well as the shocks...

Not to mention I've been happier with the Tein's since day 1 than I was with the KW's. And I'm on full Pedders bushings so the shocks show themselves to the fullest when pushed...

The original poster's coil overs are no where's near close to pedders. In fact the coils showing are not even for a LX. You can put a camber plate on a LX, but there will be know benefit of any kind.

Pedders is here to stay and will always support this fine community

thanks

Honestly I'd roll with pedders over the d2 and megan... Even the tein and I've had tein on my past cars. Just for the reasons of:

1. They ****ing care... the stuff is made and tested here where as the megan and d2 stuff is in taiwan and is basically a copy of it. I was going to get it on a setup and I was advised not to. Keep in mind the people I deal with, deal directly from tein.

2. You don't know how long those companies are going to be around. You also don't know the history of these companies. I've been around to see companies come up then change their names due to some issue etc. Or they lay low or go into another community. Support pedders and they'll support you. Support the other companies and they really don't care.

3. They show a generic pic and off a bunch of stuff you don't really need. You get the real product and your left wanting. There's a difference between doing coilovers for a civic and doing one for a chrysler 300. WTH are you going to do with 32 ways of adjustment?

I've done my research and agree that the Megans have a spotty reputation but the D2s are getting great reviews on the Bimmer and Mercedes forums. I also found a set for $849 including shipping. I'll post the pictures when they arrive.
