Napa is right. The LX platform doesn't have inside tierods. The outside tierods attach directly to the rack.

There is no such thing as an inside tie rod on a 300 or any LX car.

Umm...no...

The outers thread to the inners which thread to the rack.

Look under your car and take a look. The parts are out there.

The inner tie rod is only a shaft and doesn't need to be serviced nor does it get loose. the inner tie rod doesn't have an end like the outside.

This is coming directly from the service manual. Look it up for yourself.

The inner tie rod threads on and off, that's what an inner tie rod does. Chrysler does have a part number for inner tie rods and they most definately do wear, my car has new outers and I still have a little play on one side in the inner rod. (could see it on the lift)

Just search tie rod on this site.

You are working with old data. Chrysler has even published an update to the field service manual with instructions on how to replace the inner tie rods.

Attached is a copy of the instructions. Ignore the red "Demo Version".
I had to download a free demo program to convert an excel file to pdf.

Edit -
The PDF conversion didn't work that great.

Here is a link to the Excel file.

This is weird. How can a shaft that thread directly onto something develop play? It isn't like the older tierods from different suspensions where they had an idler and pitman arm.

Here is a link to someone selling a inner/outer tie rod combo.

Chrysler 300 Tie Rods (Inner & Outer):eBay Motors (item 190310767926 end time Jun-03-09 1056 PDT)

Even though there may be different part numbers for the different models, the the inner/outer and racks are all the same. These parts will fit the touring/5.7 and SRT8.

Someone posted these Moog part numbers that can be bought on Rockauto.com.

inners EV80702
outers ES3571

I read on another thread you have an AWD. Not sure which part goes on the AWD.
52013468AB is the outer tie rod part number.
There is the sales code SDG that is for AWD.
The best bet is to call your dealer and ask them for the correct part number.
