Need advice on lowering my car !

Hello all,
i am from europe (Belgium) and i just buy a wonderfull 300C Limo this saturday . I will get the car next saturday. I really want to change the wheels and lower it .I have seen eibach spring that make the car lower by 1.6 inch. Are those springs good ? I am driving a lot per year (20.000 miles or so) so i want to go to 20" and lower it but just a little (i mean the less is the beter, don't want a crazy lowering). Any advice on what kind of springs to use? H&r make some but they seems much lower then Eibach (sport kit ).
Are the eibach not "too" hard ? Are they ok with the stock shock ?
Are some of you using 20" without lowering the car ?

thanks a lot for your help

Stephane

Several things to consider but need info first. Has the vehicle been stretched? Will it remain a commercial vehicle. How many miles are on the LX.

I ask these questions to get a understanding of the potential condition of the suspension system. There are a number of components that have been problematic.

thanks

Info inside

Hello,
My model is the 3.0 CRD (i don't think you get it in the usa). It is a 3 liters diesel from Mercedes (The same which is in CLS 320 CDI for example). It is a rwd . The car is from 05/2008 with 26000 km (about 18000 miles). For the moment everything is from origin : wheel of 18 ", stock, spring etc.

Tell me if you need any info !

info

I don't know what you mean by LX. If it is the car type, then it is a "limo" type (not a touring model). In belgium we have touring which are mainly bigger with more space capacity and limo with 4 doors, the version you can see everywhere in this forum. Don't know if you get me

Stephane

LX is the platform design. Can you take a picture of the front and rear suspension, and with that I should be able to tell

thanks
