Alright getting Frustrated!!

So I am trying to pick what susupension I would like to put on my car.

What I am looking for is, approx 1" wheel well gap. And with in reason I do not want to lose ride quality of the stock suspension. With that said I am not opposed to stiffing up suspension slightly .

With that said here are my problems that I am looking at.

Pedders- was my first choice until I found out that HAVE to order them from the US ( live in Ontario) after the exchange and shipping I am looking at almost $600 for just the springs.

Eibac Pro - Have heard so much mixed reviews about these, some say they are not low enough, and give a crappy ride. I also did have a set of these on my Honda and agree that i wish it was lower.

Eibac Sportline - Might be to low? and if I don't upgrade other parts of the suspension feel that this would be a bad ride as well as cut my suspension life in half?

Hotchkis- Advertise only 1" drop ? Not low enough

Mopar - Not low enough

KW and Tein Coil overs - $$$$ was nto hoping to spend $1500 +

Megan Coilovers - Is what I am actually considering right now.

Other details are that I will be running a 20" rim eventually

Any suggestions thoughts....

Thanks

I guarantee my car has seen some of the harshest winter environments on air. My inspection sticker is from february, I also drove to sunday river in maine in the same month. My car has seen -20* F.

Fair enuff, I know very little about UAS my first impression was that there would be problems.

But I dont' want to go with UAS, to much money plus labour as I would not want to attempt this on my own.

hey LON, im guessin your from London??? i live in Hamilton, i have a 07 Touring and im running the Eibach Sportlines WITH the Eibach Pro-Damper Kit and after all my headaches, aggravations and countless dollars spent on this and that...wouldn't recommend messing with our suspensions UNLESS your ready to shell out serious dough!! i had the sportlines put on early last year on the stock shocks and struts and it lasted for exactly a year before the JARRING ride got disgusting...i chose to keep the rake and stance of the kit BUT add the pro-damper kit which costs about $600 w/o install to soften up the ride...alright done...the ride is a bit better but had i KNOWN what was gonna happen, i would have left my ride on stock height...if you want to see my car in person, PM your email or facebook addy and possibly we could meet somewhere and i'll let you take my car for a spin to see what you think...ive had so many sleepless nights and long ass weekend nights in my garage over this setup and im just about done dude...choose wisely.....

I would get coilovers. From what I have read, the stock struts/shocks wear out after 1-2 years if you lower the car with just springs. In the long run you may pay the same amount if you have to keep paying for new struts/shocks, plus the cost of the install.

...

You should be able to get your hands on Tein SS coilovers for around $1350.00 and will never be sorry you did. Don't skimp and cheat yourself...
