I LOVE my '07 300c, but it rides like a truck!
Does anyone know how to improve the ride?
Thanks
If you think your 300C rides like a truck, you should have bought a Lincoln Towncar
If you had your heart set on a 300 and wanted a soft ride, you should have bought one of the 300 V6 models which have softer rides than the 300C.
Check your tire pressures. You can soften the ride a bit with lower tire pressures.

I own a Dodge Ram 1500 and a Chrysler 300C and I assure you the 300C does NOT ride like a truck! If your car rides like my Ram, then there is something wrong with your car.
Best way to describe the stock 300C ride? Soft and Wallowy!
Also, Welcome aboard!

Is your ride stock as far as wheels and suspension go? If your riding bigger wheels and if the car is dropped with springs this will effect the ride quality.
I don't think it will ride like a truck, but definitely not as smooth as stock!
I just increased my tire pressure from 28 to 34 and it made a remarkable difference. The steering was much better and more responsive but I started feeling every single bump out on the road. I'm running the stock 18s that my '06 C H.E. came with on the Falken's that the previous owner installed.
I've noticed that at any tire psi the suspension is quite spongy. Going over railroad tracks and speedbumps equates to bottoming out and floating around. I have to go over some pop up spikes at the gate to our base (military) and at 1 mph the car barely edges over the spike that is roughly 4-5 inches tall and abruptly falls down the other side as if I just dropped off of a two foot curb. Time for new shocks I guess.
Is your Ram a 1500 4X4 with 20" rims, sport tires and a tow pack? I can't recall.
My Ram would hand my 300C it's azz on a platter in the twisties and that's NO joke.. The Ram handles like it's on rails, but it's a harsh ride when you hit any type of upheaval or expansion joint, the suspension easily hits the jounce stops and it feels like all four tires leave the road!

I don't understand this statement... I've had an '05 300C and the current '06 H.E., and I wouldn't compare them to a truck ever! They both provided a great ride (IMO). The H.E. is even better though because of the SRT-style seats. I found the regular 300C seats to produce some aches and pains after a long while on the road... but not the H.E.
Now the MSRT8 is a much stiffer ride and I would assume somewhat comparable to some trucks, but even that's not too bad. I've taken it on >2k mile road trips as well without road sores!
So I just don't get what you don't like about it.

In love with my first wife & first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife
but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!
It's the Hemi Quad Cab 20" with tow package. The 2 WD tows more than the 4x4,fits my needs better. On decent pavement I think it rides better than my C. I sure you too have surprised people with how well it goes around curves I have the Goodyear LS's and love them (not the LS2's they stink).
