Air suspension/22 inch rims question..

I'm looking into purchasing a universal air suspension for my car but was wondering exactly what all has to be done for my wheels..
Do I have to roll the fenders? If so how's that done?
And will I have to cut out anything within my wheel well?
And I've seen bagged cars where it looks as tho they're wheels tilt inwards? What is that?
Any info and/or links anyone can provide me will b appreciated.....
Thanks

it tilt inwards as the car gets lower. it all has to do with the suspension movement, juust like your tire leans when you turn your steering to one end.

you should have no problems with 22"s. go ahead and order your UAS kit, you'll love it. you dont have to cut anything or roll fenders as long as your wheels are not ridiculously wide.

you should be ok

The fender rolling depends entirely on your wheel width and offset (and tire size also for that matter). Although with 24's and air you're most likely going to be rolling no matter what. Rolling the fenders can be done with an Eastwood fender roller (YouTube - Rolling Your Fenders w/Eastwood Fender Roller). Although most want someone who has done this before to touch their car, it can be done at home with no issues so long as you're paying attention to properly heating the paint so you don't crack it.

You most likely won't have to "cut" anything, although this once again depends on your wheel width/offset/tire size. I don't know of anyone who had to do any cutting as long as they were satisfied with the drop that was received from the UAS kit as is. If you want to get closer to laying your pinch rails, then you're going to need to start cutting.

As viper has already stated, the way the suspension travel cambers the wheels in is natural, and is just exaggerated with air (and wider wheels also). This is needed as your wheels wouldn't tuck into your wheel well if this wasn't the case.

Lets make this easy... you can go upto a 9.5" in the front and 10.5 in the rear usually without rolling the fenders as long as its the correct offset for the LX's. If you go 10F 11R you will most likely need to roll the fenders. Your tire size will be the next changing factor. If you go with like a 255x30(and 295x25 if stag. fit) it will sit lower then a 265x35(and 295x30 if stag fit). When the car is dropped the 255x30 will not hit the inner fender wells, but the 265x30 will. Now, this won't hurt anything, but it will keep the car up a hair. All of these car's have no modifications.

255x30x22 on 22x9.5 OE shocks

255x30x22 front with a 22x8.5(or 8) and 295x25x22 rear with a 22x10 on OE shocks

255x30x22 on Koni Shocks

not sure on rim size, but its a 30 series tire on koni's (simon help?!? lol Like you didn't see this one coming)

265x35 on 22x9.5

And for fun... He is 24's with cutting the car....

Laying on 24 front and 26 rear cut up
