Question Tension Strut??

Hello,

The Chrysler dealer told me I needed a new tension strut. I decided to call around for a better price on the job and the garage I called doesn't know what a "tension strut" is. Does it go by some other name?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

While you have it in the shop, replace both tension struts.
I got mine from 'moparpartz.com' for $126 for the pair, delivered.

I just bought the same ones from Moparpartz this week, charged me $149 delivered. They are RDI parts. Then I saw Rockauto sells the same thing for $60 apiece.

Get the SRT8 tension struts. They are a direct fit, and are much more robust than the regular struts.
