Hey Mr.DJ, the off-center tip was addressed in an earlier post... may have occurred during install but I straightened it since then.
As for lowering the rear more, I decided it was best to leave well enough alone in anticipation of possible settling, etc. and Hotchkis agreed; the springs are already on the market and I'm very happy with the look and the ride.

I don't know what the degree of rake is with the Eibachs but fatchance has them and if you look at the pics of my car nose to nose with his, the rake on mine seems less pronounced, perhaps because the front of mine is not as low...

Yes Shawn, I recounted a trip through the mountains in my original post... that's when it became most noticeably apparent. The sway bars made a huge difference and with the lowered center of gravity taking those hairpin turns was a lot of fun!

I think the car looks great. Do you find the ride since the changeover to be more firm
similar to a big BMW or Lexus. The only complaint I have on my 300c is over certain roads I bounce around like I am in a small car. I guess I am asking does this change over give a more foriegn feel to the ride. What about cost?

SG, I have only ridden, as a passenger, in a smaller Lexus and was not impressed. We traded hubbeee's BMW 740i sport edition for my C... I never liked that car, so I can't give you an unbiased opinion using the criteria you posed. The stiffer springs, slightly lower CG, and larger sway bars did away with the floaty, bouncy feel and body roll... now it rides with the comfort of a large sedan but handling is much improved. I can't wait to get rid of the contis now...

Thanks for the reply I am seriously thinking of have the upgrades you did.
I guess the problem I was experiencing is more wheel hop over large bumps
do you find that is eliminated with the upgrade. I agree on the conti the first one I had shot craps at 18k so I did not go with the run flats, just the reg. conti from what I have been hearing the gy comfort is the way to go. Shame you can't trade in tires. Let me know what you think.
thanks.

Tbyrne had a group buy going, not sure of the status... you'll find him in the Supporting Vendor's forums. Nice choice!

Hey, I finally got registered. Have some specials on the TVS and sway bar kits for the 300s now.. Plus Hotchkis has a rebate from authorized dealers (which I am).

Expanding my 300/Magnum/SRT8 lineup-- so look for more products shortly.

Sorry I couldn't meet your event, doing a lot of travelling for drag races, events across the country.

Sam

(how do I become a supporting vendor? sorry if this is in the wrong location)
