Alignment Camber Kit?? - Info ASAP Please

Have the car in the dealership right now getting the front end aligment done. They say the only way they can get it into spec is to add a camber bolt kit for $242. I'm refusing to pay for it, experts please tell me what you think?

Are you lowered? If not, I don't know what they are talking about.

under warranty?

aftermarket wheels?

other than stock suspension?

if you haven't changed the suspension or the wheels, get on the phone with Chrysler Warranty services..

cause it if takes an aftermarket kit to first the alignment for factory parts, then something is wrong..

2005 models had a right pull issue, that had to be corrected by bolting and shifting the cradle, early 2006 builds may have had the same issue..

it is a warranty fix if you are still under the 3/36 or have a service contract..

If it is out of spec, but you haven't done any modifications and the car hasn't been in an accident, then it seems to me that the dealer should repair it under warranty. It's not your problem what parts or kits they need to supply to put it into spec.

yes. Chrysler Warranty is saying Alignment is covered only for 12/12k and if this bolt kit is required to put the alignment back into spec then it is not covered. I asked the about the TSB for revised alignment specs and that lists using the bolt kit if they cannot get it back into spec and she says TSB's don't mean anything, it's just an addendum to the service manual.
