How do you remove the plastic caps off gas & emergency brake pedals. No problem with gas pedal rubber cap. Everett

You certainly revived an old thread! Removal of the rubber covers in easy... just takes a little wriggling and some force.

Here's some additional notes:

I suggest filling in the depression of the brake pedal with two-three layers of the plastic foam pieces that protect the pedals as delivered. You can cut to shape by trial and error and this provides some resistance to the rubber nubs in the center of the new pedal so that it "feels right" (uniform) to you foot.

Also, starting with late model '06s the emergency brake changed from pull to release to push to release. With that change the structure of the pedal mechanicals went from plastic to metal and the shape changed also. Therefore, the pictures shown will not provide accurate for the push to release pedal, and drilling of the e-brake for the new pdeal will be much more tricky. I have some pictures in a thread somewhere, but I can't find them at the moment.

I purchased the SRT pedals from Aaron some time ago and absolutely love them. Have received several comments on them already and it's a relatively cheap and easy mod. However, I would second the recommendation to fill in behind the brake pedal with some sort of (waterproof/sturdy) filler. And while I know it's probably common sense to about 99.9% of you out there, make sure you use a strong (I used titanium) bit for the brake pedal as it can be a bit tricky to get that bit thru there. I broke the first 3 metal bits. Could just be my huge-ass hands and the bad angle.....?

Anyway.......big kudos for the Stealth SRT pedals.

Aaron, I'll be in the market for the clear side kit in the near future......
