LOL...well, you definitely have to be careful.

I use to go to the friday night open drags at PIR when I had my civic. It was always a good time. It would be cool to pick a friday night and get everyone together for LX DRAGS w00t. I bet if we contacted them they would give us our own lane (like viper club, Mini club..etc) if we had enough vehicles.

Friday nites, starting on 7/27 and every two weeks thereafter we are planning 1/4 Test and Tune racing @ Woodburn. We'll meet at the Baldock Rest Area on I5, just South of the I5/I205 Interchange. Track opens at 3pm, some of us plan on gathering at the Rest Area at 2PM, then on to the track. Others will be coming later.

P.S. I did some research and it looks like the actual "Touring" model of the taillight should be alright..I guess when you have to splice wires/rewire people usually have problems... Do you know if those are DOT or legal in oregon?

They can be smoked or tinted but have to be visible, on a clear night, at 500 feet.

and just to make sure you have the "Smoked red"

Yes

I liked the color offset (hence the black on the wheels) and the paintjob I'm getting soon (two tone fade from the silver to black) and I have a few dings they're gunna repair for $700 my sister works at the tattoo shop down the road and she always hooks him up with good deals so he's hitting me up with no labor cost just supplies.
Cool. Keep us advised on how that's all going! We'd better stop hijacking this thread on side trim removal! lololol

Excellent vid. Thanks for doing this and posting it. Having my mouldings removed today, by the dealer. Not costing me a cent.

But I'm more than nervous about losing the protection from dings by the uncaring masses.

I'll post pics, when my ride is finished.

Usually not. Only a small number of members reported they could notice a diiference in color when they removed the moldings. I believe all of them simply had it buffed out either at home, or for the worst cases, at the body shop. Maybe 3-4 total reported color change, mainly those that have been in the southern states sun for 2-3 years.

No color change here

It's an 2005 Cool Vanilla Touring. There was loads of crap under the moulding and it took a lot of work but I'd do it again in a minute.

Thanks for the video aliens_300touring

just did my cool vanilla 300c too. looks great! only took 2 hours in total. sprayed with wd-40, let sit for 15 min. Used a scraper, slid it along and peeled it away. used a microfiber scrub pad and rubbed it with spray 9. Still had lines, looked discoloured. So I used meguires nxt wet wax and a buffer....... now it looks perfect! This car has sat through winter and in the sun quite a bit.

Thanks Alien!

G.
