thanks AAC, thats great. that helps out a lot, i really want to smoke my headlights myself....but i was never leary about putting my headlights in the oven before, but i recently tried to do it to taillights, and i melted the outside i was trying to see if i could get a different look on the tails by tinting the inside and not the outside. i did them for 10 minutes at 200*. after i ruined them, it occured to me that taillight plastic is probably much less heat resistant than headlight plastic, for obvious reasons.

so any tips for opening tail lights? next time i plan on using a hair dryer, because they really did open very easily once the backs got warm enough. but i dont want to ruin another set.
