Angry OMG help w/ Volant CAI

so I got my C back today and I decided to install my volant CAI

So I remove everything after taking a trip to get a longer socket
then im stuck with the lower tube of the volant intake...... I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS GETS INSTALLED. I have no instructions. It finally got dark and my car was tore apart outside at a friends house

So I put the stock intake back on except for the box that came under the fender......lol the car drove home...

also I am missing the 3.5" connector from intake to the motor... autozone doesnt have anything larger than a 3" so I guess a trip to lowes in the morning

I dont understand if the lower intake tube bolts underneath the car or in the engine bay... im so mad right now

anyone have there instructions from there volant intake

please...lol

The lower intake tube should have a metal bracket which bolts to the tube itself and then bolts to the car using the stock bolt you removed when you took out the silencer (box under the fender). The bracket bolts to the same location.

does the bracket bolt to the underside of the car or inside the engine bay...

I had some1 hold the lower tube in place and it angles almost sideways... im not sure how the box could even connect. and yes im using the leveled off end and not the curved end

the main thing I am unclear of is where the the swinging metal bracket on lower tube bolts on...

the end I have towards the top is like this ___ and the end at bottom under the car is \ if that makes sense

in this pic it looks like the bottom end is ____

but I cant see the end going into the box which might in fact be the \ end

Well, I know for sure that Linda (HEMEEE) installed the Volant on her 5.7L 300C a couple of years ago and there were pics too.

I gotta go back into work for a while and just don't have the time right now, but you can do a search for her threads or I can after I get back.

This is quick. I guess NR did too. Have a look at this thread. Don't know if you'll find what you're looking for, but it's a start. I haven't got the time to go through it right now.
