We should have a Canadian TSB section

It turns out these cars are not all equal, nor are their problems. The TSB for the US cars are completely different than north of the 49th. With that said, should we modify this thread for the SnowShoe wearing folk, eh?

I know there are differences for European market cars, but what is different about Canadian market cars vs. U.S. cars?.......besides the markings on the speedometer?

This is the first I've heard of any differences between US & Canadian cars. The cars are exactly the same, only the programming for which country their destined for is different, and the speedometer of course. I'm sure if grunt, who works at the Brampton Assembly Plant can verify this if he see this thread.

As far as I know, the only difference besides the speedometer is a specific part on the intake manifold on the 3.5L for California cars, for emissions purposes. What that part is or does I'm not sure. That being said, just because there is a TSB released in the US doesn't mean the same TSB will be released for the canadian cars. I could be wrong on that, but it wouldn't suprise me.

What I know is, I have become an 'abuser' of the 5 star service. I went in to get the SRT8 tranny flash that others here are doing. He showed me the actual codes are different and he could not match one to the other. It pissed me off...

I thought if someone knew the canadian code for this, then I could get it done. Hence, the Canadian spot for TSB...

Canadian TSB's are followed by a suffix, for example "18-036-06" becomes "18-036-06EH".
